BACK TO IT!
From all of the HMA staff here, of which all have now returned to the office, we’d like to say a big thanks to the NHS, all of the key workers and services for all their strength and dependency during the past few months. Closer to home we’d like to thank all of the people we work with, our clients, consultants, contractors, specialists, the local authority and anyone missed for enabling us to continue with current engagements.
Further to a temporary dilution of staff we are all back in the studio responding to the demand as usual.
Looking forward to continuing to work with you all

STAY AT HOME, PROTECT THE NHS, SAVE LIVES
Dear Clients, Contractors, Friends and Associates,
We wanted to keep in touch in order to update you on how we’re adapting to the ever-changing situation surrounding COVID-19 and what we are doing to keep everyone safe.
We have been closely monitoring guidance from the Central Government and have made the decision to close our office until further guidance is received in order to re-open. This has been an incredibly difficult decision to make and has been made to ensure the safety of our team, their families and the clients we deal with on a daily basis.
However we can assure you that we remain fully in business and proactively dealing with all aspects of our current projects.
Through this period the office will not be staffed, however, the team will continue to deal with clients through Telephone, Video Call & Emails. Our landline has been redirected to a mobile too.
We have a very committed team in place to actively work through this pandemic and have put lots of measures in force to continue our commitment to deal with your project in the most efficient way possible.
As this is an ever-evolving situation, the stance above may change and we will work hard to inform you of this as quickly as possible.
Finally, on a personal note, we hope you and your loved ones keep well during these unprecedented times.
Yours faithfully,
All at Harris McCormack Architects.

PASSING PRAISE
Just to say thank you for your inspirational transformation of such beautiful example of Bauhaus architecture which is a highlight of my regular journeys up the A1 between Norwich and York.
I just had to find out more about this building having been stunned by its appearance and intrigued by it’s location and tracked down your website to investigate. I’m even more inspired now having read of its history and your dedication and hard work to rescue it.
I do hope it continues to inspire your team as it does no doubt countless of commuters like myself!
Kind regards, P.Strickland

Stamford Living Spot
Pick up a copy of this months Stamford Living to see a double page spread on a project of ours that you may or may not have heard of, but the grounds upon which it is set however are known far and wide .
The Grade II Listed Dairy Farm is located within the grounds of Burghley House, one of the greatest Elizabethan country houses in England. Set in the Capability Brown parklands, The Dairy Farm is widely recognised as part of the cross country course for the internationally acclaimed Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials.
The Dairy had lain derelict for some 30 years with a string of undeveloped schemes waiting to bring the building back into use when Harris McCormack Architects was commissioned to work on the building.
Our Brief was; ‘Create a multi-functional space that can accommodate private fine dining for patrons or corporate events such as seminars or meetings.’ The building also had to offer flexible, multi / sole occupancy accommodation that could be rented out to the public for short or extended breaks.
