The solution

We were approached by the client after an application had been submitted by another agent to replace the existing bungalow with a two storey dwelling, as they could not get it through planning. We spoke to the Planners, Conservation Officer, and Historic England to establish the issues.

We re-designed and prepared some 3D visuals to demonstrate the proposals compliance and re-submitted. Consent was granted with no loss of floor space from the original design. We went on to see the build through to completion on site. A contemporary design in a traditional form.
