My core background of experience was working with existing buildings, many of which were listed, and new buildings in sensitive and built up surroundings which has developed my reputation for reinventing and rejuvenating spaces to create exciting light modern living and working environments, utilising traditional and modern techniques and adopting conceptual design principles.
Righteous ethics are applied to all jobs from small domestic extensions to larger ventures. With ongoing personal involvement at each stage of the projects and attention to detail; strong relationships are formed with all of my clients resulting in repeat appointments.
My career began working for the family construction and engineering business. I went on to work for a local architect working on a wide variety of commissions including high end private residential, the hotel industry, sports facilities, the education sector, the National Health Service, private industrial and commercial sectors, and high end speculative developments. I am a Chartered member of the Institute of Architectural Technologists and also qualified as a Domestic Energy Assessor.
I held a partnership role in a multi disciplinary practice for seven years before setting up Harris McCormack Architects with former partner Simon Harris. I work with a broad practical knowledge and vast experience.

I have completed studies in interior design and architecture and so bring a versatility to the office, and a perspective that is usually an after thought to each project.
I thoroughly enjoy conceptual exploration and find that this produces considered solutions.
I joined Harris McCormack in July 2024 after graduating from Liverpool John Moore’s University.
Since working at Harris McCormack, I have gained invaluable experience in the residential and commercial sectors.
I bring over 35 years pertinent professional experience, gained, working on national & international projects across a variety of sectors including investment banking, hospitality & leisure, education, industrial, mixed use & residential.
I have a background in successfully managing complex & technically challenging projects with a focus on delivering excellence. I have been part of many awarding winning projects, so it is no surprise I find myself working with Harris McCormack Architects.
I joined Harris McCormack in May 2025 after relocating back to the area in which I grew up after 10 years working down in the Thames Valley. I am a Project Running Chartered Architectural Technologist & Accredited Conservationist that has worked on a broad range of building typologies. These include domestic extensions and bespoke contemporary new build dwellings, through to developer work and a range of conservation projects, including estate work for the Royal Household and Church repair and reordering projects.
During my time at Harris McCormack, I am looking forward to getting to work on the historic vernacular limestone buildings with Collyweston slate roofs in and around Stamford, the very buildings which inspired me to delve into a career in architecture in the first place.
I have been part of the team since inception. My background is in the financial sector where I worked for many years prior to setting up my own consultancy in 2002.
I have a wealth of experience and pride myself on being scrupulous with the day to day financial management of the practice.
